My coach posts a “Squad Swim” session to Facebook every week for his athletes. It’s usually my hardest workout of the week, and this week it was 10x harder than any swim I’ve ever done. Okay, total exaggeration, but it was harder than any swim I’ve done this season. I definitely had to take a little longer rest interval between a couple of sets.
1:20 long run
I switched this week’s long ride and run because I had to work on Saturday and running outside before work is much more doable than riding. It started out way less humid than previous days but by the end I was a sweaty mess.
2 hr ride, steady
There is nothing like getting your long ride finished before 9am. Totally worth the 5:30a wakeup on a Sunday because I was able to get my chores done and relax on my rare Sunday off.
